We recently purchased our new home and used BBI for the building inspection. The inspection was thorough and detailed giving us a much better understanding of the condition of the property before moving forward. I had never heard of or used Broad Building Inspections before, but, because they had good Google reviews and a very good overall 4.9 star rating, I thought I would choose them to do a recent building and pest inspection for a home that my wife and I just purchased in Baldivis. Both inspections were done professionally and with care which was evident by the report that was produced and the communication therein. BBI were definitely acting in my best interest and were complete in their adherence to the codes, including any changes that had taken place to the codes since the house was originally built. Those changes to the codes were to the chagrin of the sellers, who had only purchased the house three years earlier, and whose building inspector did not document the things that needed fixing in the roof space that should have been picked up on and enforced at the time to bring the structure into line with the updated code. While the settlement date for the house got pushed back a few days waiting for the issues to be rectified, from my perspective, it was well worth it. If you want a Building Inspector to do right by you when buying a property, or while trying to bring your existing property up to code, and making sure everything is documented well, I would certainly recommend Broad Building Inspections. If I ever buy again, or have the need for a Building Inspector, I will definitely be using BBI again.

We were very happy with the great service we received from Broad Building Inspections. We used them for a building and pest inspection on a property being purchased. The report we received was very well documented and easy to understand. They were also very friendly and helpful after they had completed the report. Broad Building Inspections provided a fast competent service for the purchase inspection of my new home. The report provided was professional, fair to the seller and buyer of the property, had lots of photos with realistic and fair assessment findings.
